I have my Sync option set to "let me choose" for Video. After encoding video and move the video files to Zune I delete these files because I no longer have any reason to keep them on my hard drive.

At the next logon to June software, the software automatically sync Zune with the video folder although I chose not to use auto sync and delete all these files from Zune so I end up with no Video files in my Zune.


Is there anyway to avoid this without logging in as "Guest"?

No. IF YOU WANT TO DELETE THE FILES....you must Forget the Device and login as Guest so the Zune soft doesnt delete anything

this is a function of the Sync Group feature.

Yeah, once you think of it from Microsoft's perspective, then how it works makes sense: the mobile hardware is something you do when you aren't chained to your computer like you should be so you just take a piece of it with you.
