Beautiful!
I have been checking out their site.
I have a couple of questions for u if you don’t mind:
Which Viking cable is that?
How long did it take to receive, once ordered?
And what did you end up paying
I am thinking about ordering one.
Not sure if you ordered one already but I have one that I ordered being delivered this Friday that I'm going to be listing for sale as I unfortunately no longer have the Atrium.

It's their copper flagship model & compliments the Atrium rather well..

We can work out a good deal you skip the wait 😁

Most of my past ZMF purchases were Limited Sets. And tbh, I also prefer the natural appearance of wood grain over the stabilized sets as well.

But, seriously, don't sleep on the Cherry. There's a reason Zach made it the stock wood.

While wood play will be less with this model, I think the natural decay of Cherry is working amazingly well with this tuning and provides a nice contrast to my Blackwood VC's.

Everything comes off as being natural and analog, including decay.

If I understand correctly Koa and Cherry are about the same hardness so any sonic differences between the two would likely be minor?

May I ask why you decided to sell the Atrium? Sounds like you were on the fence about it ("unfortunately")?

I actually traded the Atrium for a stabilized VC which I still prefer. Personal reasons forced my hand to sell the VC as well & for the time being I don't t possess any ZMF headphones and probably won't for the near future.

Taking a break from this hobby. Simple as that.

The Universe Suede pads are awesome with the Atrium. My "house sound" preferences are pretty far from ZMF overall. I've owned all the open ZMF models and the VC and didn't like any of them sonically enough to keep them. The Auteur was definitely the closest so I made a blind purchase of the Atrium hoping it would be the one. The dynamics, clarity, and treble lift with the USP (Universe Suede Perforated) and the vented titan mesh made it the one. I was pretty lukewarm on the Atrium with the stock mesh and any pad combination so I didn't bother with the full mesh. In this configuration, it is one of my favorite headphones ever.

Paired with one of the best amps on the planet for dynamic headphones and made by an equally talented wood craftsman.

I don't recognize that amp, what is it? Curious minds want to know... I want to know! :)

I'd like to hear the ECP DSHA-3F, I've heard great things, I think it is one of @zach915m 's personal favorites.
