Hi, I have a zero dac/amp and I'm currently pretty happy with the opamp setup I have, the DAC section has an LM4562 and the headphone outs have LT1364s in them.  I know a lot of people have used discrete opamps in the DAC section (like the audio-gd 'Moon' or 'Sun'), but I was wondering if there were any benefits to using them in the headphone amp section too.  If I were to equip my DAC with say the 'Sun' and the two headphone amp sockets with the 'Moon's, would the added discrete opamps change the character of the sound in any kind of significant way? (Its about a $100+ upgrade, which is why I'm curious).

Any insights anyone has into this would be great, thanks!

Yes, I have. I used Burson's. Sounds really nice. But I would not buy them today, as they got greedy a few years back, raising there prices by 3x.
