I know they don't have a line out, but is there a way to hook them up to a home stereo from the headphone jack and still have it sound decent? Thanks.

All you need is a "Y" adaptor. One end should be a 1/8" stereo jack and the split end should be left-right RCA jacks. Availalbe at Radio Shack and other electronic stores.

Just plug one end to your Zen Xtra and the RCA jacks into the AUX of your stereo receiver. Then turn the volume on your Zen Xtra to 20-22 and you should get good sound!

Thanks. I don't actually have the device yet - it's on its way. I had an Archos Jukebox and could never get good sound to my system from the headphone jack. It alway sounded double-amped, no matter the volume, so I wasn't sure if the same would be true for other players as well...
