thought maybe someone has done this, was considering getting a mp3 player, but if i can upgrade a zen xtra to a 100gb seagate drive, it would make it alot better as far as file transfering goes... i hear its just pop out, pop in, anyone have any ideas/

just like you said, pop out, pop in.

there are several "how-to's" on the webarnet, with good pictures.

you need a philips screwdriver. thats it. maybe a small flat screwdriver if you have bad fingernails, or are especically clumsy.

do note that the zen's os is stored on the hdd, so you will HAVE to reload the os allong with all of your files. no biggie really.

how does one get the original OS OFF the old hd and onto the new one? Image old and copy to new?
