For the Creative Zen Vision M, is it worth buying a line out dock or does it sound the same as the headphone amp?

If so...Where can I find such a Lod

Hey,

You can just use the dongle that comes with the ZVM. Just make sure that you turn off the video output. If you just plug a regular mini -mini extension cable in it works fine.

Quables I believe sells a LOD but I just use a second dongle that I bought to use with my amp.

As far as I'm concerned the line out sounds better than the headphone out. I actually did a test earlier today while I was waiting for code to run.

Yeah, use the dongle, although it makes the rig bulkier. Mine is temporary, because as is the amp.

I have the old school original Zen Vision 30GB, and I bought the Qables LOD. It sounds very good and is probably preferred over just using the headphone amp as it is a "clean" signal.

Also, Apuresound makes a ZVM LOD. It's kind of expensive though.

you can buy the ZVM dongle off the creative store I believe... It's not VERY expensive iirc.
