I just got the e2c's to use on my zen touch, and i've never touched the EQ on it because i like the sound on my 280's, but the e2c's obviously come across with a totally different tone. Does anyone else use e2c's on their Zen Touch, or maybe even micro? What EQ settings do you use? I've messed around some, but the custom settings seem to not do what i want them to do (raising highs just drops the bass??). I've tried the preset EQ's and found a few that i like, but what do you guys use??

I have the Zen Xtra and the e2c. I usually listen to electronica and alternative rock, here's what I think works best for me:

100hz = +5dB
800hz = +0dB
3kHz = +4dB
12kHz = +12dB

do you listen to your xtra with the 280's as well? do you use any EQ with those cans?

I did...until i snapped the wires connecting the cup to the drivers while doing the blutak mod...lol yeah. Actually, I tried the HD280 with no EQ and they sounded pretty decent. However, I found the Disco preset to be even more pleasing

I'm not sure if the TOUCH has the same presets as the Xtra.
