I was wondering what headphones you are using with your zen micro's. The included earbuds sound decent, but I was wondering how they compare to everything else. What volume level do you run the micro on usualy? Initialy I had to run it at about 20 with my tracks normalized to 89db, I redid the normalization to 96db and I now run the volume at about 16.

with my shure e2c, i run @ 10.

are the shures really that efficient? How much of an improvement is it over the included ear buds? I was considering getting some, but I don't want total isolation in some situations.

i use px100 and have em at like 18-23 depending on how noisy it is but when its dead quiet i use em at like 15

With my 7506's, i can have them as low as 12 and high as 18. All depends on the loudness of the music i'm listening to.

I can listen to micro with e2c's when the volume is set at 2-4 for a quiet environment (ie library). In a noisy room or hall or large gatherings about 10-12.
