Hey there, I recently got my hands on a $50 dollar amazon gift card and have come to the conclusion that the money would be best used on a new pair of earphones. After extensive research, I have come down to two candidates that fit the budget of >$50 and seem to be well-acclaimed. These two earphones are, as the title states, the Yuin PK3 and Thinksound TS01 Thunder. From what I've heard, the Yuin3 seem to be a high quality and well rounded ear phone. I believe that the Yuin 1 is considered to be the best earphones according to these forums, and so I'm certain that the Yuin 3 must be of exceptional quality given its pricing. My second option is the TS01s, these earphones, from the information I've gathered, seem to better suit my musical interest. I primarily listen to Jazz and Hip-Hop. The Artist that I almost solely listen to is Nujabes (R.I.P.). In case you don't know who he is, Nujabes was a japanese Jazz/Hip-Hop producer, most of his songs base on classic jazz samples topped with hip-hop drum and bass (Oh and his piano and flute riffs are extraordinary).

So yeah that's Nujabes, and he is the primary reason of why I am having difficulties deciding on which earphones to get. I would normally get the Yuin3s but I believe that the TS01s would better fit Nujabes' work. This is true because the TS01s are said to have a warm and smooth signature with exceptional bass and decent mids (but the treble is subpar). So because of my uncertainty, I would like you, the people of head-fi, to help me chose between which earphones better suit Jazz and Hip-Hop music, with emphasis on the producer Nujabes.
