I've heard great things about both, but amazing things about the PK1.
I was wondering, people say that it requires an amp, but I'm really wondering if it does to preform well, My HD25-1 surely doesn't.

In all honesty, what sounds better?? PK2 or PK1 both unamped???

I use the PK1 unamped from my iAudio7, and haven't touched any of my full size phones in a while. The sound balance is not quite as even as some of the best cans I've heard, but everything else about them is right up there with the best.
