I just got my pk1's and god help me i think theyre the best things ive ever put into my ears. however i was trying on all of the foams that came with the earbuds and they seemed to take away from the sound somehow. do i absolutely need the foams on my buds? do they protect them somehow? i just dont want to damage these wonderful things. thanks alot

I like mine with the "donuts". It sits better in my ear, and provides a little bit of isolation.

I find it sound better without foam, but using the donut ones seem to be better in isolation.

They won't stay on without the foamies, in my experience, meaning I can't walk or move around without them.

As far as I'm concerned, that's the biggest problem with these buds. That and the fact that the foamies have a short lifespan.

As for those who have no use for these covers, I'll be happy to take them off your hands, at least those without the holes. Can't find them anywhere for a decent price and the U.S. distributor ignores requests for help.

Foams can makes your pk1 sound a little bit warmer . So before it completely burn-in. You can but one on
