Hi everyone,

I'm starting to notice that the plug on my Yuin PK1s is going bad. When the wire into the plug moves a bit, the left ear sound range gets messed up (I lose some of the highs and lows but not mids).

What kind of price range should I be expecting to pay for a fix for something like this? I have no idea where to go for it, but I'm hoping to get an idea of what it might cost. Thanks.

Do you have basic DIY skills? If yes, get a Neutrik or Switchcraft plug and solder it. They don't cost much and they are available on eBay.

I've heard people mention shielding (with cables in general, not the PK1s)...do I need to worry about that?

Yeah I have basic DIY skills...I have a soldering iron and have soldered a little before. Haven't done any wire to wire work, only component to PCB.
