Believe it or not, I've found the best photos are the ones I get off of my camera (Rebel), they fit great on my dell 20" wide.

Is there a way to sort by resolution on this site?

After going to the site, you might try just putting the desired resolution in the search dialog. It will search just that group. Most of the submissions will have multiple resolutions. (I assume you are referring to the flickr site) On Deviantart, I browse/search for HDTV/Widescreen
