Jeff Buckley and Gary Lucas - Songs to No One 1991 - 1992: I've got pretty much the entire Buckley discography. It's one of the great disappointments in my time as an avid music fan that he left us when he did. He seemed poised for real greatness, Sketches for my Sweetheart the Drunk notwithstanding.

I picked this up yesterday on my way in to work. It's a glimpse into the pre-Grace Buckley's developing talent, and very enjoyable at that.

Just heard an MGM 45 of The Animals' We Gotta Get Out of this Place, a song I'm pretty tired of, and found it was a different and much more involving take (or mix) than the one the oldies station plays.

I've had dozens of happy surprises the last couple weeks since I finished repairing a 45 changer and have been working my way through 500 or so singles I'd accumulated this year. Might be a topic for another thread.
