So with Fusebox's blessing I am starting this thread.......to determine head-fi's 10 favorite Beatles songs.


This is how this thread will work....

[size=medium]IF you want to participate please list your TEN (no more no less) favorite Beatles songs IN ORDER (rank the best you can)........Your favorite song of the list should be at the TOP, and your 10th favorite should be at the bottom.....

The only songs which qualify are songs which are included in the 2009 remaster releases..........meaning no Live At BBC tracks, no Anthology tracks, no Love tracks, no Let It Be Naked tracks.........Also NO Solo Beatles songs...[/size]

If you pick a song which has more than one version available to it...... Let It Be, Love Me Do, Across The Universe, Revolution please specify whether it is an album version or Single version......

This will NOT be a factor in including your list, but just out of curiosity, when you are done typing out your list, it would be interesting to see how big of a Beatle fan you consider yourself. This is optional, but if you would like to please rate on a scale of 1 to 10 how much you like the Beatles music.........this will not be used in factoring the list, however it would be interesting to see when the list is done how much of the list was inspired by Beatle fanatics versus occasional listeners.

How the list will be tallied......

If Come Together is your favorite Beatles song, it will be awarded 10 Points for your list......meanwhile if We Can Work It Out is your 10th favorite Beatles song, it will be awarded 1 Point.

Also NOTE: For this I consider The Sun King / Mean Mr Mustard / Polythene Pam / She Came In Through The Bathroom Window to be ONE SONG........call it the The Sun King Medley if you choose to vote for it.
I also consider Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight / The End to be ONE SONG..... call it the Golden Slumbers Medley.
