Ouch, I just bought a Rega P1 yesterday and now this! Cmon is there no stop to this madness!!!!!!

On second thoughts, its gotten average reviews and seems to be that price from quite a few sellers on amazon as well, so I'm not sure its one of those "Buy it now while its 250$ off!!!" kinda deals.

It's the end-of-the-model-year sale. Personally, between this Denon and the Pioneer Elite DV-48 that was previously $100.00, I'd pick the Pioneer.

I just bought one, anyone else own it here and have any opinions on it? I already have Blu-Ray HD-DVD players, I bought this for SACD and DVD-A support. Should I hook it up via HDMI or the 5.1 analog outputs?

Analog only for SACD for sure. I am pretty sure you can output the DVDa to a DAC.

Even multichannel SACD is analog output only. I understand that this Sony specification prevents any digital output of the SACD data to prevent ripping of SACD and piracy. I will also point out that your SACD signal has to come through the DAC in the 89 dollar source box.
