I guess I never get tired of showing everybody how much fun my daughter is; some of you saw the recent movie of her first 2 wheeler ride.
This was filmed yesterday at Mt Rose ski area.
It's on an advanced/int run that goes from the top of the mountain to the bottom.
She's only 4 but she's skied a lot this year:

Apologies to those who are already tired of the "my kid" threads.

A word of caution: skiing (especially ski racing) is VERY expensive. You think THIS stuff is expensive?? Not even close.

Welcome to Vail...we're REALLY, REALLY sorry about your wallet!!

Well, dad's a telemarker so maybe I can turn her on the to the backcountry, granola, non-materialistic, no-need-to-buy-a-lift-ticket vibe.
Yeah, right!

Thx for the wallet condolences.

Yeah, her teachers have said to wait till next year for the poles.
She tends to be a bit of a "backseat driver" when she gets onto terrain thats steeper than she's used to. I guess that's pretty common.

She's actually named after Imogen Cunningham, the photographer.

No. The teachers we've worked with discouraged the rope thing. We did use an "edgie wedgie" at the beginning; it's a short piece of rubber surgical tubing that connects the two skis together at the tips and keeps the tips together to help beginners get the skis into the wedge shape and control speed. Worked very well and she doesn't need it anymore.
