Uhhhh, yeah, I'd have to say that you've flipped your lid if that describes you...

No Head-Fi for you! <in my best soup nazi voice>

Sometimes I tire of being a Casanova. The playboy lifestyle becomes stodgy after awhile.

I'm sure Hue Hefner would understand how I feel.

And it wasn't a very flattering dream towards Jahn either. I was walking down a street, met Jahn. Had conveniently brought my RS-1s and MINT amp. Jahn had never sold his SR-71. And the first thing I asked him was if I could have a listen. We went inside somewhere where we found a source. Hooked the lot up and the RS-1s sounded magical. HUGE soundstage. With the MINT there was no soundstage at all.
Then I woke up and thought to myself that I really needed to cut down on head-fi. I mean, the first thing I would ask when I meet a head-fier in the street would be "how are are you?", not "can i listen to your amp?"

It sounded so great that it will be a disapointment IRL, or so I keep telling myself.

Definitely. I think that is the best one yet. In my defense, I did go out last night and wrote this up when I got back (1ish I think). I like some of the other ones though I think Lisa took the cake with:
  1. when you start dreaming about other Head-Fier's equipment

PS My thread got moved...whoops..yeah...I forgot about the member discussion area...it was late!

“foregoing female requests to personally escort them to the latest hangout spots in town.”

Dude- Unplug the computer and go outside. There’s a big difference between killing time while at work or if there’s nothing to do- but consciously foregoing human interaction for this virtual nothingness is not good.

You know you spend too much time on Head-Fi when you know the lineage \ ownership history of specific headphones or amps.

...in yer dreams!

This is how I realized that I was into headphones/Head-Fi way too much: I was driving down a street and saw an attractive young woman at a bus stop. She had headphones on, and I found myself wondering, "Um, I wonder what cans those are?" to myself.

What is a "soup Nazi"?

...to our language, along with "yada yada yada". I watch so little TV, I was completely clueless. I weaned myself from the glass breast years ago.
