I recently saw a sticker on a car that said "NOS" and the first thing I thought was "That car is New Old Stock?"

I find myself downloading technical manuals on gear I could never afford. It can't be good.

Nitrous oxide system? National Ocean Service? Network Operating System? Nitric Oxide Synthase? Net Outside Sales? Notice of Sale? Or maybe something else not otherwise specified. Probably the first one, though.

Oh yes, forgot that one. The new old stock/no oversampling one is almost as bad as the printed circuit board/polychlorinated biphenyl one.

lol this thread sure got derailed fast! And I'm sure there is at least one major topic thread about this thing...something like "You know you're an audiophile when..."

"You know your too into Hi-Fi when..." you are too busy listening to your newest audio gear to spell it you're (you are) instead of your (possessive). Or maybe this is when you are too much into grammar.
