That's really sad... and over a measly $1000, too. If you're going to do something that bad, at least go for the big money.

True that. My 94 year old great grandmother who was in the alzheimer's ward in a nursing home got strangled to death by some guy in his 80s because he thought that she was in his room.

Oh my god, that's one of the worst things I've ever heard. Was their any charges brought up on the man?

If I understand correctly. no. He had severe dementia caused by alzheimer's and wouldn't have been found competent to stand trial.
