I just found this out today... pretty neat. You can listen to any PDF file instead of reading with Adobe Reader 7 .0 Or 6.0,
and the short cut is:
Ctrl+shift+b - to hear the entire Document
Ctrl+shift+v - to hear the page
Ctrl+shift+c - to resume
Ctrl+shift+e - to stop
Open any PDF File, that has a lot of text and test.... unbelievable.

Too bad. But I guess it's not worth it to download Acrobat all over again just to try it out.

That's really cool but the voice program isn't very smart. If you use to read magazine articles that have insets then you'll be in trouble because it just keeps on reading down one column. It doesn't differentiate between the main test and insets. None the less, I'm glad I know this neat little trick.

Thanks for the info!
This will be too much fun at work tomorrow. People will be returning to their desks with PDF's talking and they won't know how to stop it.

Just tried on a random, electronic component data sheet.
The 'voice' seemed perfect for the subject matter.
