All Grado prices are messed up. $420 for the SR-325i. The RS-1 are listed for $999

Actually, the retail price of the V700 is 99.99 and the V6 is around 70. So, while those prices are aggregiously inflated, they still reflect Sony's pricing standards; apparently they genuinely believe the V700 is a higher end product.

Yes, I do believe that.

Layton Audio (Downtown, Stanley w/ St-Catherine) wants $400 or $500 if I recall correctly for a pair of HD580s.

I paid 88$+tax for a pair of crummy HD-477s.

In general computer, and electronics prices (as well as selection) are horrible in Montreal (Canada?) compared to the States.

Even with our strong dollar, our prices are still massively inflated.

And we can only import $20 worth of merchandise duty free, Americans have up to $200.

Great, eh?

P.S.
Anyone up for a Montreal meet?

Wow! Suddenly an outburst of fellow Quebec Head-Fiers! Schweet!

Canadian prices on headphones are definitely inflated. I bought my HD477's for 103$ with tax...
