Hey guys, I'm just wondering if what I'm hearing is indeed the way it's meant to be, or if it's a defect with the vinyl that I own.
What it is, is some slight distortion on the first track (Fight Test) on a number of occasions before the 2-minute mark. Notably around 1:22 to 1:30. I've tried searching everywhere for an answer, but no one has reported anything similar. At first I figured that it may be intended, but the distortion is not present on the CD version of the album, nor the 5.1 version.
There also seems to be a YouTube version of the vinyl rip, and I have in fact listened to that, to discover the same distortion in those places.
Anyone with the vinyl care to chime in? Driving myself half-insane here.
