Hi I'm new here. Currently I own a Yggdrasil A1 USB GEN3, and I have read several posts from Yggdrasil GS, A2, A1, but I have not found a comparison between Yggdrasi A1 USB GEN3 vs A1 USB GEN5 or Yggdrasil A1 USB GEN3 vs GS or VS A2. Who can help me understand the differences? .. Is it enough to migrate to Yggdrasil GS?

No, there isn't much difference in GS vs. A1, as GS is based on A1 with some minor changes. I upgraded from A1 to A2 and I believe A2 has more balanced sound. A1 was quite bright, detailed, while A2 is warmer. Concerning USB, I believe GEN3 is to be avoided at all, GEN5 usable but still SPDIF is better. Only current UNISON USB is possible on par with AES or maybe even better, depending on source. There is dedicated thread for Yggy A2 impressions, you can find more infor there.
