AV-710 > VDA1 > VHP1 > HD580/HD600/SR225
Parents are giving me $200 to replace my audio card which died the other day, which I guess I could use towards the AV-710/VDA1 since together they act like a sound card, though I'd have to buy a recording interface later. I could pass on the iPod mini I planned on buying (was waiting for them to update it) which is another $250 and get that later as well. Add that to the $500 I had to spend on headphone stuff and I've got $950. I could get interconnects at Best Buy since I have $50 in gift cards and another $50 from relatives. I think it's do-able. The question is...do ya think it's worth it? HOW good would it sound? Thanks...appreciate everybody being so patient!
