I'm looking for something specific: IEMs that will block out the sound of someone else watching TV in the same room.
I'm listening now with Soundmagic E10s plugged in to my computer (onboard sound (I had a Turtle Beach external sound card but it suddenly died and when I went back to onboard sound my aging ears coudn't detect any difference)).
Isolation is the most important thing, followed by sound quality. The one thing I absolutely can't stand is mushy bass. Slightly increased bass would be nice but is less important than isolation. ( had a pair of Hippo VBs which I liked but the built quality wasn't so great, so I tried the Soundmagic E10s. I keep ordering them for different devices. I don't want to keep plugging and unplugging because every dead mp3 player I've had has died from a bad or loose headphone jack.)
So should I just get some Comply foam tips for my E10s? Get a pair of mk5 Isolator phones? Get the mk5s and put Comply tips into them?
Or sould I do something else I haven't thought of?
