Just arrived! Very safely packed despite the lack of the pizza box. I will be eagerly awaiting it though.
I liked how they included an extension and mini-adapter like with the RS-1's.
It's a beauty. Enjoy the pics.

Happy about...

The cable straightened out a bit after I uncoiled everything, but it still would have been nice if there was more care taken in coiling the cable. Not the end of the world though.

Wow. Honestly, that's a bad job by Grado... These HP are $1000!!!! I'm not saying it's a bad purchase. I am looking for a set of high end Grados myself. But that's not a good job on the cable.

Nice cans but I echo the other members comments.

so cheap foam is all they can spare for $1000,-?
don't get me wrong, the price should be in the cans, but Sennheisers/AKG's/Beyers come with a case for travel and for show. this is just .. well hope they are worth $1000,-

Hey man, have you felt them? Nope? Didn't think so. I wouldn't comment on the feel of the foam until they've been on your head, because they're a good deal more comfortable than any other headphone that I've owned. That includes the DT880. As well, do any of us know the content of the foam? There are LOTS of kinds of foam. The type that covers the walls in recording studios is QUITE expensive.
