Took a while, but while shopping locally (SE Asia) for a pair of HD25's I spotted a pair on a retailers online advert at a very cheap price (sub $100).
I called the retailer (well over an hours drive) who had them in stock, however informed me outrightly that they "were not original, but exactly the same as original" (My first thought was refurbished, however she was adamant that they were fake)
She urged me to visit the shop to test them, which I might do if I find myself in that neck of the woods and will be sure to get pics.
On doing a search for fake HD25's on the internet failed to yield results and have not seen (in person) any as yet - it was even mentioned on some threads that they were "too expensive to fake".
Just a friendly word of warning to anyone who spots very cheap HD25-1 mkII (and other varieties as well) that they are out there and be wary of where you are buying from.
