has anyone else noticed that the shure yellow foamies have two different sides?
or am i just kinda slow...

one side looks like it has some sort of film over it, while the other side is not tapered like that

could it be shure's way of cutting the foamies?
is it also for comfort? because the side with the film is smoother

which side do you guys use?

This is not only the case with the Shure but also with the Etymotic foamies.
The "film" is there to protect the foam against earwax getting in and the side with the "film" has to go in your ear.
