To start Sound & Vision is a store I stumbled upon while looking for the Rega Apollo located out of Jenkintown,PA which is about 20 minutes from me.When I arrived I met to nice gentlmen Mike the Owner And Dave the speacialist two very nice people.Anyway,When they were getting the Apollo I took a look around their small shop.I came across some headphone amps I think a Grado and a Stax and what stood out the most was this gorgouesly well built Yarland Amp.Dave had a demo of the AKG K701 on hand so I listened through them and the Yarland and was stunned. The sound comming from AKG was an amazingly liquidly smooth presentation. He said the amp was $295 and I thought he was joking. In other words you don't get sound quality like this for $295.Anyway,I took him up on his 30 day return policy and brought one home with me.After hooking it up the the Apollo I let it run on and off for about 3 days using my Senn HD 650 as my only headphones. The tube like character with my Senn's gives the bass the relaxzation which I had been hoping for.My previous amp was the Creek 21se amp for $350 and I thought that was a good amp but this Yarland amp is simply a no brainer.Dave the speacialist said he brought one home too and compared it to some $1000 amps and said the Yarland is in the same league.Needlesss to say I sold Mike my CA Azur 640c v1 and Creek 21se amp combination and havn't looked back since. Those of you interested on this great deal contact Sound&Vision at www.tsto.com
