Has any owner of the DP-50 watched DVD movies on the DP-50 using the digital out?
I am using a Dell laptop, using PowerDVD to decode the Dolby audio. USB to the Yamaha unit, then optical digital out, then to my new Harman kardon receiver.
But the volume is really low. With CD's, the volume dial is usually around 8-9 o'clcok. When I am watching movies, the volume dial is around 2-3 o'clock.
Is this normal?
