Howdy,

Does anyone know of a Digikey alternate to amb's recommended switch for the Gamma1 (NKK G13JVCF bicolor illuminated toggle switch). It's out of stock until mid-May and I'm trying my darndest to get everything from Digikey since a Mouser order will cost me an extra $30 to ship one thing.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of another compatible bi-color illuminated mini-toggle.

I dont think I've ever seen another switch that looks like this. Is it possible to replace it with a bi-color LED + mini toggle? Or you could order everything from mouser. The only part you would be missing is the optic receiver and psu if your doing the full config. If you did the lite config you'd be fine

Sure but finding a sub miniature switch with the right pin out is easier said then done.
(Mouser # 108-2US3T1767-EV is a good example, it fits the board and has the correct "switch function" but the pins are on the wrong side)

How about using the non-illuminated NKK G series switch (mouser # 633-G23AV-RO)

This is a DPDT and will mount in exactly the same position as the illuminated NKK switch.

You could snip off the switch connectors to pins 4, 5 & 6. This will then leave PCB pads 4, 5 & 6 available for LED(s)

Ob3ron was trying to order everything from Digikey. If he wanted to also order from Mouser then he could've simply bought the correct item, it's in stock there (not many, but more coming).

I'm just preparing a Mouser order and need one or two things from Digikey. I'm making a y1 DAC as well as a few other things.

Thanks for the help guys. I've figured out that I can get everything (and in stock) between Mouser and Farnell Australia.
