Hi fellow head-fiers! I just bought an IEM cable. Unfortunately it does not come with cable slider - the sliding part above the Y splitter. May I know is it possible to add one without cutting the cable?

Try a split washer of some kind? Use pliers to open them, then close them after inserting your wires.

I use silicone o-rings that are commonly used in RC car shocks. P3 size will stretch wide to fit over most connectors, but will go back small enough to grip the cables and hold as a slider.
