Sounds interesting....still at $30 a pop. it's relatively expensive. Anybody buy one of these? How's it sound?

XRCDs are just CDs mastered and manufactored to high standards, not a different format.

If you look up "XRCD" in this forum and the Music forum, you'll find some comments on them. There were also some unscientific comparisons of K2(regular priced CDs) and their XRCD counterparts posted on the Blue Note BB some time ago.
