I have a question for any owners of the XP-7 and have tried the LT1028. Do you have any hiss when used with high sensitivity headphones?
I had hiss with the AD825 with my rs1, e4c, se530, hd497, etc... which lots of other people with the same combo could not hear a hiss. I'm talking about hiss at volume of 0. Now I was able to eliminate the hiss by going to AD797 which I've been using for a few years now.
However, now I'm interested in trying the LT1028 as I find now the AD797 is too warm and feel like there is missing detail up high. But the LT1028 would have to not hiss at all or I would not be able to use it with most of my headphones. So anyone who has tried and heard hiss with the 825, none with the 797, and could comment on where the LT1028 sits in that regard, please comment!
