I am running a dedicated audio pc, running windows xp, a shell called cmp, and run winamp within it, with a recompile of the otachan asio driver.

analog sounds fine, but i cannot get digital out to work, although i see the red glow from the combo jack.

the digital cable was connected to another component, and it was/is working fine, but when i move it over from the sonos to the stx, no sound....

any thoughts?

Did you set Windows/CMP to SPDIF output?

i clicked the toggle to activate the spdif out on the xonar -- the red light glows, as it is a combi-jack. once in cmp, i do not think i can access the xonar control panel, since cmp hides/disables lots of std windows stuff. i may try tonight running winamp without cmp, and see if it works....

analog out with my setup works fine
