Well I just installed my new Xonar Essence STX, but there is no sound on youtube or spotify, there is sound when I use "Speaker Test" on Xonar Audio Center, but nothing on the startup, web browsers or on any software, does anyone know why it seems like I have sound but nothing will play any sound?

never mind, I found the problem, but now I'm facing a different problem.
For some reason the bass makes the sound distort and go uneven, I didn't have this problem on my previous motherboard's on-board soundcard.
I'm using a Sennheizer 360 gaming headset btw

EDIT: I did some tweaking and it seems like I got rid of most of the distortion, but it sounds like I lost a tiny bit of the clearness in the sound, might just be me, but if anyone has any tips on how to adjust for best sound performance that would be great.
