Hi, quick question..
I'm looking at getting either a pair of Beyerdynamics as my next cans. I've narrowed it down between the DT880s and the DT990s, both the 600 ohm version (hopefully.) I realize the headphone amp in my card is nothing really special but it has a super high gain setting for up to 600 ohm cans, would it drive them well? efficiently? Does anyone have any experience driving Beyers with the Xonar? I've heard that the 600 ohm versions are no harder to drive than the lower ohm versions of Beyers as they are difficult to drive in general.
