I'm currently connecting my Xonar D2X straight to my amp using a 3.5mm jack to rca cable - My question is, in Foobar, how should I set the options? Like should I be using 24bit? I've read OldBlueEyez' guide on configuring Foobar when using a DAC, but I'm not sure when using my setup

yes, It should be 24 bit.
Use wasapi output on vista/seven & asio/KS on XP.
