need to upgrade my onboard sound and I've narrowed it down to the Xonar, I was just wondering how much of a difference there is between the D2X and the DX? there is a price difference of about $60. Also how does the E-MU 0404 compare to these two?
music tastes include a lot of trance, acoustic guitar, soft vocals (Dido), and just abt everything else just not country or harcore punk rock. I will also be doing a considerable amount of gaming and movie watching.
will be using my RX900s with a future upgrade of some good desktop speakers
