Ignoring the price difference in these two options, in a blind test, can you tell the difference between an XM5 with AD8065 and an XM5 with LME49710 op amps installed?  If so, what would the difference(s) be?

can you tell?  i bet you can but as to which is better for you?  for that you might need to ask in the DIY bit for getting the diff between different op amps

I suppose I should have been a little more specific in my question.
 
If you can tell the difference in a blind test between the AD8065 and the LME49710 in an XM5, what are those differences (comparing such things as sound stage, bass, treble, smoothness, bright, dark, etc)?

well going from the AD8397 to the LM6171 i noticed considerable change.  as ive not heard those two i cant say how thoy compare thats why i suggested asking in the diy forum, probably in the op amp thread
