My brother has a SkyFi1 with home kit, and now wants to be able to use it in his vehicle too, I went to both Best Buy and Circuit City and got no straight answer. First they said I needed just the FM Modulator, then one said I also needed a car kit, then the other said no, you need this device that matches it to your radios frequency, etc. I've also heard of people having problems with the installations. I want something he can easily make work. He has a three year old Ford F250 truck, which has a cd changer, so there is no cassette player so that insert thing wont work.
I recall Tuberoller warning not to buy the FM Modulator because of serious heat, and possible damage problems, but that thread dosent have a recommended install specified.
