Xin claims that his amps are "silent" and with testing I found this to be mostly true, yet I find that my SuperMini seems suseptible at times to outside interference from electronic devices, including my portables.

The interference (when present) is only audible when volume (mines analog) is at its highest levels.

Has anyone experienced these problems? Is there a remedy to sheild the amp from outside intereference?

I've never experienced any interference with mine but it has occasionally picked up a radio signal.

You sure it's not just amplified noise/static from the source component (or recording)?

Yes. I have tested it when unconnected to any source.

My guess is electromagnetic fields cause the interference. I also think my unit was not one of Xin's best, making it more sensitive to disturbance.

Just thought there might be a way to protect it. It is not a problem now, but when I get a pair of demanding cans, it could be.

I will take it up with Xin if it becomes a noticable problem during use.
