Hi,

I am wondering has anyone got a chance to try the new solid tube opamp instead of the AD8397. Is it really close to a tube amp?

I am trying to make a final decision between a Hornet or a SuperMini-3 for my first portable amp.

I know Hornet has sounds that is close to a tube amp, but not sure if the SuperMini-3 swapped with a Solid tube will be more tube like?

I found the sound of the SR-71 more satifying than that of the Hornet. Are you getting the Hornet due to size, charging feature, or sound?

Hi,

I am trying to pair it with UE10 Pro and Sony SA5000 on the go. To me, SR-71 is a little bit big, and the sound is too neutral for already very neutral IEM and can. I would like to get something that can add some little colorization to the sound.

I heard Hornet and Sony SA5000 / UE10 Pro is a very good match.

Just as a side note, Xin has mentioned the new SuperMicro-3 has the most tube-like sound compared to SuperMini/Macro.
