The left channel on my Piston 3 went kaput last night and i am looking for a new pair of earphones. The KZ series piqued my interest but I got completely lost almost 500 page impresssions thread. How would you describe the sound each of these ? I am looking for something with similar sound signature to the Piston 3 but with slightly more bass presence and more details in mids

Yea it would be nice to hear a compassion. I'm all in for alot details, great and wide sound stage, instrument separation, and front sounding mids (close presence to the instruments if that makes any sense)

I like them the most, but you couldn't go wrong with the ED9 or EDse as the KZ to buy. The ED9 might be the best KZ to start with since it has interchangeable filters with very different signatures.

There are tons of good sellers on AliExpress that offer free shipping to Canada. Not sure where you live, but I'm sure you will find good shipping options.

The ED9 with brass nozzles would probably offer up the best combination of those things.

There is only the one model. It comes with both gold (v-shaped) and brass (balanced) filters. I'll see if I can find a good seller to link, but you should be able to find one pretty easily on AliExpress.
