My current setup is an xfi-champion series connected to z5500 pod.I use the headphone jack on the z5500 to connect my klipsch s4 earphones (just got em and still in burning stage)

I mostly listen to 192k or 256k stream radio stations. Can anyone recommend any good xfi settings and some good music players (i use winamp atm or windows media player) that are not too complex to use.

Would i notice any difference upgrading from xfi champion to an asus xonar d2x soundcard?

I have some good hardware but i may be lacking settings/software

I like the x-fi with all effects off, EQ set to flat, and I may or may not turn on the crystallizer on to ~65%, depends on my mood and what I'm listening to.
I usually have the bass boost on as well, set to 3, with 10Hz cutoff frequency. I use logitech z2300's, and it can hit those low frequencies. The 5500 will too.
