XDUoo XD05PRO

The only downside I've found, is that dedicated Xduoo power supply is not included, or suggested to purchase additionally.
If they had a separate matching to buy separately, I would not say anything. But as it is now a failure

I wouldn’t go that far and call it a failure. It works fine using any standard USB-C charger. Just need to flip a switch while using Turbo mode.

Here you go guys - "frequency response" with Burson and ROHM on Normal amplification mode and 1st filter.
2nd filter looks even worse.
With OPA1612 picture is the same
All measurements on line out. Phone out looks almost the same, just a bit worse.

Stereo crosstalk on screen is ok - this is ADC known issue. But frequency response is terrible on high frequencies

Measurements for ESS:

But I still hear that ESS sound is sawing a lot on high frequencies, not melodic.
But at the same time volume on ESS is about 15-20% higher, sound is punchy and very detailed.

How ES9039 in xd05 pro freq response looks in comparison?

which fir filter did you use on ess? if you have time, please take measurements for fir 1 (new minimal linear), fir 4 (linear slow) and fir 7 (new minimal slow) separately, thx.

I dont really hear difference between 1-6 and prefer 1st.

My investigation shows that ROHM chip issue is software related because LPF looks good.
According to datadheet ROHM have 2 built-in FIR filter types - Sharp Roll-off and Slow Roll-off, but devs can configure manually them for each frequency.
And most probably xduoo configured both FIR filters as Slow Roll-off

Sharp is missing

And Here is Slow - that looks works for both FIR1 and FIR2

If you have a minute - write a message to xduoo with requirement to fix this software issue for ROHM DAC to:
service@xduoo.com and wei@xduoo.com

Someone compared Sparkos Labs SS3602 dual with Sonic Imagery Labs 994Enh-Ticha dual ?

It is unlikely that they will fit, Sonic Imagery Labs is up to 10 to 12 mm wider, from the photos you can see that the sparkos fit almost touching sides.
