A head-fier told me about this and I find it quite interesting. It's like the steroid, desktop version of the xd-05 with balanced output; has anybody tried it?

- XD-06 is a desk-top amp having USB/coaxial/optical DAC+(tube) AMP, and LCD display screen to show play messages. It accepts up to 24Bit/192KHz high resolution audio signal. The pre-amp adopts tube ON or OFF mode, so as to achieve different styles of timbre. The post-amp is adopted OP+BUF architecture. It has 1 way Single-Ended RCA output, 1 way Balanced XLR output, 1 input select key, 1 SRC key, 1 tube on/off key, 1 GAIN set key.
- Adopts XMOS chip for USB signal input, PC jitter-free USB Audio with Asynchronous Transfer Mode, provides I2S interface for decoding, can support up to 192KHz/24Bit USB signal, support WASAPI，ASIO，KS Kernel Stream Mode.
- It adopts CS8422 for SPDIF signal input, works at asynchronous transmission mode, provides I2S interface for decoding, can support up to 192KHz/24Bit coaxial/optical/I2S signal.
- Adopts high-performance D/A chip: WM8741*2, can supports up to 192KHz/24Bit I2S signal
- It can choose the tube ON or OFF mode, so as to achieve different styles of timbre.
- Adopts transistors for class A buffer which may carry out huge thrusts and tiny distortions to amplify.
