I've tried two XDuoo XD-05 Balanced DAC/amps in the past couple of weeks, and both of them failed and went into PROTECT mode requiring an RMA. So I need a portable DAC/Amp that isn't so prone to failure.
My use case is not that demanding to be killing hardware. DCA Aeon 2 Noire and occasional LCD-2F as the power hungry headphones, and some IE 80 S IEM's at work. Bluetooth is almost a 100% requirement.
My main requirement is a lot of power. The XD-05 BAL did 1W per channel into 32ohms. I also need a 4.4mm balanced connnector. ~$400 max budget or used $300 would be great. I would go with an iFi option like the XDSD Gryphon, but it's too pricy. And the cheaper options lack power.
