On xDuoo's website they list the XA-10 still as having the AKM 4493 chip.
As far as I understand - AKM got wiped out by a factory fire, and most brands had to switch to ESS chips.
Did xDuoo switch to ESS also, yet forgot to update the product description on their website? If not, how have they managed to still source AKM chips whilst no-one else has been able to?
Has the xDuoo XA-10 always had the AKM chips, or has it had various different DAC chips as silent 'updates' at various stages?
